Momie and I recently took Anna Claire to NYC for a couple of days. We had a great time and made some fun memories. My favorite memory from the trip was when I asked Anna Claire what she wanted out of life......her response "to be happy and not be greedy." I thought that really spoke to her sweet spirit. I think Anna Claire's favorite part was all of the candy shops we visited.

We had a laid back Easter in the Smith house. We left out some carrots and water (because apparently the Easter Bunny only drinks water) out for the Easter Bunny, which of course he thoroughly enjoyed. There was talk of setting up a booby trap to catch the Easter Bunny, but thankfully they forgot about it when bedtime rolled around. The twins enjoyed getting baskets full of candy and other goodies. Emily said "Mom, the Easter Bunny got his candy from Gumdrops and Lollipops!" All I can say is that the Easter Bunny has good taste :)

Elson finally had his first soccer game last weekend (the first two games got rained out). Even though Elson made zero contact with the ball, the team did a great job and ended up winning by a couple of goals. I have to say, in my biased opinion, he was the cutest soccer player I have ever seen. He said he had a great time and is looking forward to the next game.
