Sam has had a difficult time (to say the least) adjusting to the twins. When we first brought the twins home he would bark if they cried. After about a day of that and a good talking to from Drew, he stopped the barking, but the love/hate relationship continued. He desperately wants to be in the same room as the twins, but doesn't want ANY physical interaction. This has become a problem now that the twins are mobile. The vet encouraged us to keep them seperated due to Sam's "negative reaction" to children. The twins spend most of their time in the back den/playroom, so I put a gate up to the kitchen where Sam spends most of this time. This seems to work pretty well for now, but sooner or later Sam the Dog is going to have to come to terms with the fact that the Emily and Elson are here to stay!!
Poor Sammy didn't have a clue that his life was about to change
